I brought in the New Year with La Marca Prosecco and today I’m celebrating another moment with them! La Marca encourages us to celebrate every moment with sparkle, so why not raise a glass to National Vision Board Day!
There’s no better way to lay the foundation for your year, than to make a vision board. So I got together with my sister, grabbed the prosecco and put my ideas to paper–well sort of. Theres so many things I want to do/accomplish this year, creating this board was an absolute must!
All of the items on my board are lifestyle images. I decided on images that reminded me of certain things. Things that triggered a particular feeling, a memory, things that encouraged me to create and finally, things that I love about myself or someone close to me.
Honesty, there is no singular way to create a vision board. This is all about you! I firmly believe that when you’re able to see your goals everyday, it makes it just a little bit easier to work towards it. Putting our thoughts and ideas to paper, makes them more real. Even if you can’t clearly see what you want in your mind, write it down, put it on the wall someplace you’ll see every single day! Write down the steps it takes to get to that desired goal and every day, complete one item that gets you one step closer! You can do absolutely anything!

If last year taught us anything, its that we can plan all we want; but ultimately we are not in control. But I do think this is a bit different. The purpose of creating one of these, is that it helps you keep the promises you’ve made to yourself. It gives you something to look forward to. You may not accomplish everything on this board, and that’s okay. What matters is that you made your requests known and every day you completed that one thing pushing you closer to the finish line. Make a plan, and expect with all your heart that you will see it through, and f it is His Will, then it’s yours. If not, be open to pivot!Reassert what you want from this year, put it into the universe (and pray) and actively work towards it. I believe in you!
